As the name of this machine suggests, Long Arm Quilting uses a "Long Arm Sewing Machine" to quilt beautiful quilts and projects that a Sewing Machine might be too small for! The Lon tog Arm Quilting Machine allows the quilter load the top layer of your quilt, batting or wadding and the reverse or bottom layer of your quilt, and then stitches the 3 layers together. Long Arm Quilting is a much more convenient method of quilting your quilt as it can be finished beautifully with precision and without painstakingly quilting your bed quilt inch by inch. It can also be used for Baby Quilts, Throws, and other sewing projects too.
A Long Arm Quilting Machine can go much faster as it is much larger in size. When sewing through multiple layers of fabric, you need something powerful enough to push through the bulk and keep the layers aligned, precision is key here.
